Scholarship Summary: 
SMWC is awarding the Indiana Resident Scholarship to top performing freshmen students from the state of Indiana who will be entering in fall.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be full-time, degree-seeking campus students, 
ii. Be residents of Indiana (verified per admissions application and/or the FAFSA address) 
iii. Have a high school or college GPA of 2.5 or higher
iv. For Tier I recipients, students must also have a valid FAFSA on file each year with the highest financial need (zero Expected Family Contribution) and be eligible for Indiana state grants.

Value of Scholarship: 
The SMWC Indiana Resident Scholarships are valued as follows:
1) Indiana Resident Scholarship (Tier I) - Up to the cost of tuition after all federal and state grants are applied. 
2) Indiana Resident Scholarship (Tier II) - Up to 50% tuition scholarship
3) Indiana Resident Scholarship (Tier III) - Award amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher, make satisfactory academic progress towards their degree and maintain permanent residency in Indiana to renew the award for up to 8 semesters. Students must also have a valid FAFSA on file each year.
