Scholarship Summary:
The Western Illinois University International Graduate Commitment Scholarship is awarded to newly admitted graduate, non-sponsored international students enrolling to WIU for the first time.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum undergraduate 3.25+ GPA (confirmed by WIU)
ii. Admitted into a degree program at WIU.
iii. Maintain full-time enrollment (minimum 9 hours, even if an immigration exemption has been awarded for the final semester).
Value of Scholarship:
The Western Illinois International Graduate Commitment Scholarships is valued as $4,000 per year.
$2,000 will be awarded fall semester and $2,000 will be awarded spring semester. This scholarship is renewable for a second year with a 3.0 GPA is maintained OR until student receives a degree, whichever comes first.
