Applications for this scholarship will end on the 15th of January, 2024 (but priority deadline is 1st of December, 2023).
Scholarship Summary:
Students (domestic and international) who rank in the top of their graduating class and/or have achieved a competitive high school grade point average with a minimum combined evidence-based Reading and Writing and Math SAT and/or ACT Composite score and also, excel as leaders both in- and outside of the classroom will be considered for a Merit Scholarship at the University of Connecticut.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 25% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The UConn Merit Scholarships are as follows;
i. Academic Excellence Scholarship: Available to domestic students
ii. STEM Scholarship: Available to domestic STEM students
iii. Leadership Scholarship: Available to domestic students
iv. UConn Award: Available to domestic students
v. Global Excellence Award: Available to international students
vi. Global Distinction Award: Available to international students
v. Global Excellence Award: Available to international students
vi. Global Distinction Award: Available to international students
vii. Global Leader Award: Available to international students
All the above scholarships are renewable for four years.
