Scholarship Summary:
The UA Office of Academic Scholarships uses a holistic process to award merit scholarships to domestic freshmen. In addition to test scores, high school grade point average, and the written scholarship application, other information, including but not limited to first-generation college student status, financial need, legacy status, and underrepresented community status may also be considered. Applications will be considered for the following scholarships, but selected students will not be awarded more than one scholarship.

There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 50% of the applicant pool.

Value of Scholarship:
The University of Arkansas Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;

i. For In-state students: Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $10,000 annually.
ii. For Out-of-state students: Scholarship amounts range from $2,000 to $10,000 annually.

i. Complete an admissions application, submit transcripts, and send test scores to the office of admissions by November 1st.
ii. Within 48 hours of application submission, the scholarship application will be available in your New Student Center which must be submitted by November 15 for priority consideration. The final deadline is February 1st. Further application details can be found here.
