Applications for this scholarship will end as follows;

a. For courses starting in May and June 2026 – Sunday 12 April, 2026
b. For courses starting in September 2028 – Sunday 28 June, 2026
c. For courses starting in January 2027 and March 2027 – Sunday 15 November, 2026

Scholarship Summary: 

The University of Law is offering a number of awards to the brightest UK postgraduate students starting an eligible postgraduate course. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be eligible for consideration, you will need to:

i. have received an offer for an eligible ULaw postgraduate courses

ii. have the highest score in the online assessment

iii. have a first class undergraduate degree or distinction at Master’s level

Applicable courses include: 

Legal Practice Course (LPC),

LLM Legal practice (SQE1&2), PGDL, MA Law (Conversion), MA Law (SQE1) and Master of Laws (LLMs)

Value of Scholarship:

The Law First Scholarship is valued as follows;

1. Awards of £5,000 each are available to all Legal Practice Course (LPC) and LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) courses
2. Awards of £3,000 each are available to all PGDL, MA Law (Conversion), MA Law (SQE1) and Master of Laws (LLMs) courses
