The Platteville Promise is committed to covering all tuition and fees (not including room and board) for incoming freshmen who are Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, or Minnesota residents and are Pell Grant eligible. This scholarship is guaranteed and requires no additional application.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible you must:
i. Be a new freshmen admitted to UW-Platteville by the deadline
ii. Qualify for Pell-eligibility through the FAFSA
iii. Be a Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, or Minnesota Resident
- Minnesota residents are to have a family adjusted gross income below $80,000 as reported on the FAFSA and submit the Minnesota reciprocity form
iv. Enroll as a full-time student for the upcoming fall semester

The Platteville Promise covers tuition and segregated fees for up to four years of fall and spring semesters – eight semesters total.
