Scholarship Summary:
The Anglia Ruskin International Excellence Scholarship is awarded to international students who can demonstrate exceptional academic and extra-curricular achievement.
As well as looking at academic excellence, ARU is interested in why you want to study there, your career goals, work experience, and relevant activities you take part in outside your studies.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, you must meet all of the following conditions:
i. Be an international student
ii. Be starting a course in September 2023, at the Cambridge or Chelmsford campuses studying a three-year bachelor degree or a postgraduate taught degree (this includes the PG Dip Legal Practice Course)

iii. Be studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study.
iv. Undergraduate students should have achieved ABB grades or above at A-level (or equivalent). Postgraduate students should hold a 2:1 or above (or equivalent).

The total value of this scholarship is £4,000. This scholarship is a fee discount and will be deducted from the tuition fees in your first year.

To apply,
i. Complete and submit the International Excellence Scholarship application form which includes a 500-word supporting statement outlining why you’re suitable for this scholarship.
ii. You will also need to submit supporting documentation including evidence of your extra-curricular activities. This is likely to be a certificate or letter from a senior member of the organisation(s) you’ve been involved with.

iii. Your application will be assessed by a panel of ARU staff and representatives from the Students’ Union. You’ll be ranked based on the details you provide in your application and supporting documentation.
iv. You will be informed of the outcome of your scholarship application, no later than one month after the deadline.
