Scholarship Summary:
The 2024 GREAT scholarship offered by Robert Gordon University in partnership with the British Council, is aimed at attracting talented students from Ghana, India or Pakistan to come and study in RGU.
On completion of their master’s programme, students will be expected to act as an ambassador for the GREAT scholarship, and possibly speak with future students interested in studying in the UK to share their experience.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for the RGU GREAT scholarship, applicant must;
i. Be a citizen of Ghana, India or Pakistan
ii. Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university
iii. Motivated and academically able to follow and benefit from a UK postgraduate taught course
iv. Active in the field with work experience or with a proven interest in the proposed subject area
v. Meet the English language requirement of the UK Higher Education Institution
vi. Willing to embody the UK Higher Education experience, by attending lectures and tutorials and engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education, by promoting the value of studying at a UK HEI
vii. Willing to establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment
viii. Represent the high standards of the GREAT brand by becoming an advocate for scholarships
ix. Willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK
Value of Scholarship:
The RGU GREAT Scholarship is valued as £10,000 (1 award per country).
