Newcastle University is pleased to offer 30 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) to outstanding international applicants, who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies.

To be considered for the scholarships, applicants must:

i. be assessed as international for fee purposes
ii. hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year
iii. already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.
Value of Scholarship:
The Postgraduate Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship is valued up to 50% tuition
