Scholarship Summary: 

Tulane University's new Grossman & Cohen Scholarship will be awarded to the very top freshman candidates (domestic and international).

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

There are no specified criteria but recipients will typically be in the 1% of the incoming freshman class.

Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of their academic record, standardized test scores, and impact outside the classroom.

Value of Scholarship: 

The Tulane Grossman & Cohen Scholarship covers Tulane's tuition, mandatory fees, housing, and meals. 

The scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters (4 years) and is expected to have a total value of roughly $400,000.

Scholarship Application Guide: 

To apply;
i. Complete the  .
ii. Complete the CSS Profile by the financial aid deadlines (international students who are non-U.S. citizens should also complete Tulane’s Declaration & Certification of Finances);
iii. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (if you are a U.S. citizen or eligible resident) by the financial aid deadlines;
iv. Submit supporting documentation when requested by the Office of Financial Aid;
  • While no additional materials beyond the 4 steps outlined above are required, students may upload supporting documents to their Green Wave Portal to be considered in the scholarship review process. 
v. Finalists may be invited to interview with members of the admission committee in the late winter/early spring.
