The Allen Scholars Program at OSU offers two top academic engineering students (domestic), a generous scholarship package and a host of other benefits.
The program is designed for engineers, who show significant promise in leadership and career ambition and is highlighted by the opportunity to pursue a masters degree at the University of Cambridge in the UK following graduation from OSU.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Qualifications for the Program include;
- Accepted to study engineering at Oklahoma State University.
- Committed to majoring in and graduating with a Bachelors degree in engineering.
- Prepared for study of engineering at the university level through advanced mathematics, physics and chemistry courses taken in high school.
- Achieved a min. high school GPA of 3.5+/4.0 and a minimum 30 ACT score OR 1360/1600 SAT score
Students will be more competitive with a 3.75+ GPA, 32+ ACT/SAT equivalent score and being within the Top 5% of their graduating class.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and active involvement in student and community organizations while in high school.

Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete an application for admission into OSU no later than November 1
- Transcript and national test scores must be included with the OSU Admissions application
ii. Complete the five additional essays for the W.W. Allen Scholars Program via your no later than the above deadline.
iii. Two letters of reference, preferably from a math or science teacher will be required.
- Email addresses for those serving as the references should be given. The references will be contacted and asked to attest to the applicant's intellectual ability, capacity for analytical thinking, leadership potential, skills and potential for success in the field of engineering.
iv. Selected applicants will be invited to interview via Skype. Successful applicants will be notified of selection on or about January.
