Scholarship Summary: 
University of Regina is committed to rewarding academic excellence and will award several international students with the highest high school averages with the International Student of Distinction Scholarship.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. International students applying to an undergraduate degree program directly from high school 
ii. Obtain a minimum admission average of 85%

Value of Scholarship: 
The Regina International Student of Distinction Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. International Student of Distinction Tier I: covers free on-campus housing and a meal plan. This award is valued at CAD$80,000 (CAD$20,000 for 4 years). Required Min. Average: 90%

ii. International Student of Distinction Tier II: covers free on-campus housing. This award is valued at CAD$40,000 (CAD$10,000 for 4 years). Required Min. Average: 85-89.99%

International Student of Distinction Scholarship - Diploma: covers free on-campus housing. This award is valued at CAD$20,000 (CAD$10,000 for 2 years). Required Min. Average: 90%

This award is renewable each year of a student’s degree program as long as students continue to complete 30 credit hours per calendar year and maintain a minimum UGPA of 75% in their first year and 80% in their subsequent years.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate scholarship application upon as all eligible international students will be automatically considered for this award.
