If you are an international student (undergraduate and postgraduate) and apply for admission to TAMUT, you are automatically considered for available merit scholarships. Please note that these funds are limited - even though a student might meet the scholarship criteria, they may not receive the scholarship as these scholarships are competitive.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for the TAMUT International Admission Scholarships are as follows:
i. New international student
ii. Undergraduates must have a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA
iii. Graduates must have a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA
iv. Undergraduates must enroll full-time each semester at A&M-Texarkana
v. Graduates must successfully complete enroll in 18 graduate hour per academic year (fall/spring/summer semesters) or successfully complete 100% of all attempted hours.
vi. All new students meeting this criteria will qualify
Value of Scholarship:
The TAMUT International Admissions Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. International Eagle Scholarship: $2,000 yearly plus an out-of-state tuition waiver
Note: Tuition waiver applies to the first 100 students receiving this scholarship
Renewal Requirements are:
• Undergraduates and Graduates must maintain a cumulative 3.0 Undergraduate GPA
• Undergraduates must successfully complete 30 undergraduate hours per academic year
• Graduates must successfully complete 18 graduate hours per academic year (fall/spring/summer)
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete the into TAMUT and be accepted for admission by the scholarship priority deadline.
- Select ‘yes’ when asked, ‘Would you like TAMUT to consider you for all TAMUT scholarships?’ on the admission application.
ii. Students will be contacted via Ace Mail if a scholarship offer is made.
