The Presidential Scholarship at Weber State University is the most prestigious scholarship available to Utah residents who have distinguished themselves in their academics and will be undertaking undergraduate study at WSU.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, students new to Weber State must:
• Meet the WSU scholarship index score of 128 or higher
• Maintain full-time status (12 credits) and a 2.5 WSU cumulative GPA
• Register for and successfully complete 3 credits of Honors classes in your first academic year (this could be one 3-credit class or three 1-credit classes)
Value of Scholarship:
The Presidential Scholarship is a four-year (8 semester) award of $6,500/year that fully covers all in-state tuition and general student fees with an approximate value of $26,000 in total.
