Applications for this scholarship will end on the 1st of February, 2024.

Scholarship Summary: 
Admitted students (domestic and international) who meet the filing date will automatically be considered for merit scholarships based on cumulative GPA and standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), information that is already part of a complete application for admission. Merit scholarship awards will be included with the offer of admission to the University.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
Be admitted for undergraduate study

Value of Scholarship: 
The University of Mary Washington is valued as follows;

Virgina Students
i. Collegiate: $10,000 (4.00 GPA &1400 SAT/30 ACT)
ii. Presidential – Honors: $6,000 (4.00 GPA & 1300 SAT/27 ACT)
iii. Presidential: $5,000 (3.60 GPA & 1200 SAT/25 ACT)
iv. Eagle Award: $4,000 (3.25 GPA & 1100 SAT/22 ACT)
v. Blue & Gray Award: $3,000 (3.00 GPA & 1000 SAT/20 ACT)
vi. Aerie Award: $1,000 (<3.0 GPA & <1000 SAT/20 ACT)

Out-of-State and International Students
i. Presidential – Honors: $9,000 (4.00 GPA & 1300 SAT/27 ACT)
ii. Presidential: $7,000 (3.60 GPA & 1200 SAT/25 ACT)
iii. Eagle Award: $7,000 (3.25 GPA & 1100 SAT/22 ACT)
iv. Blue & Gray Award: $5,000 (3.00 GPA & 1000 SAT/20 ACT)
v. Aerie Award: $1,000 (<3.0 GPA & <1000 SAT/20 ACT)

Notes:
a. An additional $4,000 award will be applied to all non-Virginia (domestic) residents regardless of residential or commuter status.
b. An additional $8,000 international award will be applied to students on F-1 visa (international) status.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To be considered for merit-based scholarships, first-year students must meet the February 1 Regular Admission application filing date.
