The Bond University Excellence Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students (Australian and International) who demonstrate high academic achievement, as well as leadership skills and community involvement.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:
• Be one of the following;
- An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident currently completing or completed* Year 12 (or equivalent) inside or outside of Australia OR
- An Australian permanent resident completing or completed high school outside Australia OR
- An international student completing or completed* Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia
• Achieve a minimum of ATAR 92.00 or IB Diploma 34.
• Hold a demonstrated record of leadership, initiative and service to your school and/or community.
• Meet the standard entry requirements for your chosen program of study.
* Year 12 completion must not be more than 12 months prior to program commencement and the applicant must not have commenced any post-secondary studies. For example, students who completed Year 12 (or equivalent) in December 2024, may be eligible to apply for this scholarship to commence in the January 2026 semester.
Value of Scholarship:
As an Excellence Scholar, you will be awarded with 50% tuition remission for any single or approved combined undergraduate degree (excluding the Bond Medical Program), and will commence your study in either the January, May or September semester.

1. Complete the Bond University Study Application Form to lodge your application for your chosen program.

- Simply use the same log-in details as used for your study application and enter 'scholarship' in the keyword field on the 'Start an Application' tab.
As an Excellence Scholarship applicant, you will be required to submit the following documents as part of your scholarship application:
• Evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. It is a COMPULSORY component of your application to use the Summary of Achievements template to present this evidence and upload as one Word or PDF document.
• Academic responses to the two questions below. Your responses should be entered into your scholarship application where prompted. Bond suggests drafting your responses in a Word document first and then copying and pasting them into the relevant fields in your application:
- Feedback plays a critical role in personal development, shaping how individuals understand their progress and adjust their strategies in the classroom, on the sporting field/pool, and in the performing arts auditorium. Describe a time when feedback affected your motivation (either positively or negatively). Analyse why that feedback had the effect it did. How did you respond, or, in hindsight, how should you have responded?
Write a 250 word academic response, using first-person language. Do not include research, quotes or referencing and do not use generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
- Different people in a group can have different ideas about what they are trying to achieve. Think about a group project you participated in where not everyone shared the same priorities (for example, getting good marks, finishing quickly, or learning new skills). Explain what factors led to the success or failure of the group project
Write a 250 word academic response, using first-person language. Do not include research, quotes or referencing and do not use generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
- A school reference. As part of your application, you will be asked to provide your career advisor's details so please have these on hand. Bond will follow-up with them directly to request a reference.
You must complete and submit your scholarship application before the application closing date as no late scholarship applications will be considered!
