Scholarship Summary: 

The Roy Frederick Turner AM Scholarship – Law was set up to assist disadvantaged Australian students to undertake a degree leading to eligibility to practice law.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

You must:
be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
be commencing an undergraduate combined law program in Semester 1, 2027.
demonstrate financial hardship

Note: If a student is undertaking non-law honours as part of their combined degree, the scholarship will be suspended for the duration of their honours year.

Value of Scholarship: 

The scholarship is valued at AUD$7,000 and will be paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.

To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must achieve a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 and must remain enrolled full-time and in the agreed degree program during the tenure of their scholarship.
