Scholarship Summary:
The Yim Family Foundation Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship for honours level students (domestic and international) created in order to provide support to students studying chemistry, mathematics, molecular bioscience and physics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
You must:
• be commencing a full-time honours program in chemistry, mathematics, molecular bioscience and/or physics
• be able to demonstrate financial need
• not hold an alternative primary scholarship.
Value of Scholarship:
The scholarship is valued at AUD$25,000 and is tenable for one year only.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
a. Complete the online scholarship application form.
b. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
I. academic merit, and
II. supporting documentation and a personal statement which provides evidence of financial hardship and any other relevant hardships.
c. The Scholarship will be awarded on the nomination of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, or their nominated delegates.
