2022-23 University of Essex Non-European Union Scholarship (England Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
University of Essex is providing scholarships to European undergraduate students who are from non-European Union countries. This scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee discount in the first year only.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
The following are the eligibility criteria;
i. These scholarships are restricted to students who are overseas fee payers and are entirely self-funded.
ii. Students must be ordinarily resident of one of the following countries; Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine
iii. Applicants must be entirely self-funded.
iv. Applicants must be starting their first year of study on an undergraduate degree course at the University of Essex in 2022-23.
v. Applicants must actively make Essex their firm choice by 15 July 2022. Applicants that become firm with Essex through rejection by their original firm choice selection elsewhere are not eligible.
vi. Only one scholarship award can be made per student and the award cannot normally be held in conjunction with other University of Essex awards.
vii. This scholarship is available for the first year of study only.
viii. Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Essex EU (non-European Union) Regional Scholarship is valued as £5,000, and is awarded as a discount towards the cost of tuition fees for the first year of study only.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
For 2022-23 entry: Please complete and return the application form (.docx) by 31 May 2022. Successful applicants will be notified of their award by the end of July 2022.
