Alabama A&M University offers merit scholarship to incoming domestic and international freshman who can demonstrate high academic potential through their high school records.

Value of Scholarship:
The AAMU Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. AAMU Heritage Bronze: $1,500 annually which includes a $250 book voucher per semester {Required: 2.5 GPA and 17 ACT, For Alabama residents}.
ii. AAMU Heritage Silver: $3,500 annually which includes a $250 book voucher per semester {Required: 3.0-3.24 GPA and 17 ACT}.
iii. AAMU Heritage Gold: $5,000 annually which includes a $250 book voucher per semester {Required: 3.25 GPA and 17 ACT}.
iii. Normalite Opportunity Scholarship: $8,610 annually {Required: Must be an out-of-state student and have a 20+ CPI (Cumulative High School GPA + Composite ACT Score = CPI)}.
