Scholarship Summary:
The University of Richmond awards merit-based scholarships to freshmen students who have achieved outstanding high school records in a highly rigorous curriculum. Merit scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding applicants (domestic and international).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be top academic achievers
ii. For the Oliver Hill Scholarship, potential candidates must be intellectually curious students interested in building a community of learners within a multi-cultural environment.
Value of Scholarship:
The URichmond Freshmen Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: One third tuition cost
ii. Oliver Hill Scholarship: One-half tuition cost (inclusive of the one-third tuition Presidential Scholarship and the additional Oliver Hill Scholar award)
Scholarship Application Guide:
Submit admission application by January 1st; there is no separate scholarship application. International students are advised to apply by the December 1 Richmond Scholars merit scholarship application deadline.
