Scholarship Summary:
Texas College is awarding merit scholarships to incoming freshmen students (domestic) who have performed excellently in their academic records.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
• Obtain a minimum 3.0 or higher high school G.P.A.
• Have score of 18 or above on the American College Test (ACT) or 860 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Value of Scholarship:
The Texas College Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Dean’s Scholarship: $4,000 per academic year {3.5 GPA and 21 ACT/990 SAT}
ii. Honors Scholarship: $3,000 per academic year {3.0 GPA and 18 ACT/860 SAT}
The above scholarships are offered to incoming freshmen for up to eight (8) semesters or four (4) years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To be considered,
i. Students must be accepted for admission and submit a scholarship application for the appropriate scholarship and semester.
ii. Domestic students are also encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
