Scholarship Summary: 
Missouri state University is awarding the Board of Governors scholarship to international students (non-Missouri residents for fee purposes) entering Missouri State as first-time college students and have earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To qualify for this scholarship, students must; 
i. Have earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma. 
ii. Enroll at Missouri State as regular, degree-seeking students on the Springfield Campus within 24 months of completion of high school or the equivalent in their country. 

Value of Scholarship: 
The MSU International Board of Governors provides the following benefits;
  1. a value of $5,500 per year, 
  2. $1,000 per year for on-campus housing, 
  3. a one-time $1,000 education abroad voucher, plus 
  4. a full waiver of out-of-state fees 
The scholarship is payable half fall and half spring and is not applicable to summer enrollment. The scholarship is renewable for three years beyond the first year (four years total).

This scholarship cannot be combined with other university scholarships.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Apply for admission by March 15 for fall semester (apply by September 15 for spring semester) and submit confirmation of an International Baccalaureate Diploma. 
ii. Eligible students will be identified by the Office of International Services based on their admission application credentials.

Renewal Criteria
Students must complete 27 Missouri State credit hours per year and maintain a 3.50 cumulative Missouri State grade point average.
