The University of Reading Master’s Scholarship is available for students from every country in the world, and nearly every master’s course is eligible. The scholarship takes the form of a tuition fee reduction and you could be considered for one of the available awards.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for a scholarship,
1. Not already be enrolled on a postgraduate programme in the UK.
2. Have applied for entry to a University of Reading master’s programme for admission in the academic year 2026-2027, using the University’s online postgraduate application form.
3. Have applied to study on a full-time or part-time basis. Flexible / part-time modular
master’s courses are excluded.
4. Have received a formal offer of admission (it is not necessary to have accepted the offer of admission at the Scholarship consideration stage).
5. For International students, you must hold, or be expected to achieve, an undergraduate degree with a minimum UK Lower Second Class, 2:2 (or equivalent) standing.
Value of Scholarship:
The Reading Postgraduate scholarships are valued as follows;
i. UK Academic Achievement Scholarship: £2,500 (for UK and Republic of Ireland students)
ii. International Excellence Scholarship: £2,000-£7,000 (for International students)
