Scholarship Summary: 
The Developing Solutions Master’s scholarship programme at the University of Nottingham is for international students who want to make a difference to the development of their home country. For the 24/25 academic year, Nottingham is offering scholarships covering 50% or 100% of full-time masters tuition fees. These are available for high-achieving international students who live in Africa, South Asian and selected Commonwealth countries.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
i. be domiciled in Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries (full list in scholarship link below)
ii. be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
iii. Demonstrate their ingenuity for developing solutions that will impact their home countries and incite change
iv. hold an offer to start a full-time masters (including MRes) in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK within the faculties; 

Value of Scholarship: 
The Developing Solutions Master’s scholarship will cover 50% or 100% of the international tuition fees.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. You must apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship. 
ii. When you have received your offer to study with the university, you can apply through the scholarships section of the application system, NottinghamHub.

- Applicants will be assessed first and foremost on how they can demonstrate their vision, and tangible plan for developing a specific solution that will positively contribute to key economic, environmental, structural, social, or political challenges within in their home country. Strong applicants will be able to link this to the learning outcomes of their course of study, and how this will facilitate their efforts.

iii.  Scholarships will be awarded after assessing all scholarship applications and you may be offered a scholarship of either 50% or 100% of tuition fees. You will be contacted in June 2024 to confirm the outcome of your application.
