Scholarship Summary: 
ULM is delighted to award the Freshman Academic Scholarship to top-performing domestic freshmen students entering in fall.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.00
ii. Obtain a minimum ACT score of 20

Value of Scholarship: 
The ULM Freshman Academic Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. President’s Distinguished Scholarship {ACT 30 – 36} 
ii. Academic Excellence Scholarship {ACT 27 – 29}
iii. Academic Merit Scholarship {ACT 23 – 26} 
iv. Ace’s Award {ACT 20 – 22} 

Note:
i. Students with a 30-32 will be awarded a laptop, and students with a 33-36 will be awarded a laptop and a study abroad stipend (up to $4,500) sponsored by the President’s Top Hawks Fund.
ii. Louisiana Residents are also eligible for the TOPS (Taylor Opportunity Program for Students), which is a state-funded scholarship program.
iii. Out-of-state students may also be eligible for the Out-of-State Warhawk Scholarship

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate scholarship application; students that by the deadline and send all official test scores, are automatically considered for academic scholarships. 

Academic scholarships are awarded for eight semesters or until graduation (Bachelor’s), whichever comes first, and provided all specified retention criteria are met.
