Scholarship Summary:
Southwestern College values strength of character and academic purpose, and this focus has led the college to offer five full-tuition awards for first-year domestic students annually.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The following criteria are considered for eligibility;
i. Stated cumulative high school GPA
ii. Be applying for undergraduate study in one of the following courses;
- Natural Science (3.7 GPA & 26+ ACT)
- Nursing (3.7 GPA & 26+ ACT)
- Education (3.0 GPA & 20+ ACT)
- Performing Arts (3.0 GPA & 20+ ACT)
- Pillars Academic (3.5 GPA & 25+ ACT)
Value of Scholarship:
The SC Full-Tuition Scholarship covers the full tuition cost and is renewable annually for up to four years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. You must submit your application for admission and supporting materials to SC.
ii. Complete the appropriate Scholarship Application form by the stated deadlines
iii. Selected finalists will receive invitations to participate in the competition. The competition consists of various small group activities with faculty/staff members of the respective academic divisions. Each finalist that competes will receive a renewable $1,000 scholarship.
- Fall Competition Day: November 14, 2026
iv. Five finalists will be selected, based on the outcome of the competition day and additional qualifications, to receive full-tuition scholarships.
