Scholarship Summary: 
Students from Jamaica entering the Bachelor of Engineering program, who demonstrate good academic standing and financial need will be awarded the Richard and Melda Murray Jamaican Engineering Scholarship.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, 
i. Applicants must be from Jamaica and have excellent academic records
ii. Applicants must demonstrate financial need

Value of Scholarship: 
The Richard and Melda Murray Jamaican Engineering Scholarship is valued as CAD$22,000 and is renewable for four years.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
Apply to an undergraduate engineering program at Dalhousie
Pay the $70 CAD admissions application fee
Submit your official first semester transcript. All documents must be sent to the Registrar’s Office; transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution.
•  Once accepted, you can log in to Dal Online. If you haven't done so before, you will need to setup your login to access the application:
    a. Click ‘New User?’ and choose ‘Activate or Lookup your Net ID’
    b. Find your Dal ID, sometimes called a Banner ID number (starts with B00), on your acceptance letter to proceed
    c. Follow the instructions on Dal Online to set up your Net ID
Once you've set up your Dal Online login and Net ID:
    a. Click on the Student Awards and Financial Aid tab and select ‘Apply for Student Aid’
    b. Select ‘2022-2023’ as the Aid Year
    c. Select ‘September – April’ as the Aid Period
    d. Select the Dalhousie General Entrance Award application and follow the instructions.
