Scholarship Summary:
Dalhousie awards entrance scholarships to support incoming top-performing undergraduate students. Both domestic and international students are eligible to apply. Entrance scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, extracurricular involvement, community service, financial need and cultural identity.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration,
i. Students need an 80% admission average or 26 predicted/anticipated IB Diploma points to be considered. Averages are calculated using the five courses that are required for the program that the student has applied for
Value of Scholarship:
The Dalhousie Entrance Scholarships typically range from approximately CAD$500 for the first year to CAD$48,000 (CAD$12,000/year for 4 years).
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
• Apply to an undergraduate program at Dalhousie
• Submit any supporting documentation related to the award application
• Complete the General Entrance Award application
• Pay the $70 CAD admissions application fee
• Submit your official first semester transcript or, for NS and ON applicants, your provincial student ID number. All documents must be sent to the Registrar’s Office. Transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution.
