Scholarship Summary:
In honour of York University’s 11th Chancellor, the Chancellor Cory Entrance Scholarship will be awarded to one Canadian high student entering the University directly from high school, who has performed excellently in their academic records.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected citizens
ii. Have a minimum admission average of 90%
Value of Scholarship:
The York Chancellor’s Scholarship is valued as CAD$4,000 and is renewable for four years. The recipient of this award is also eligible for the York University Automatic Entrance Scholarship.
To renew, students must achieve a minimum grade point average of 8.00 and complete a minimum of 24 credits each academic year (prior Summer, Fall/Winter sessions).
Scholarship Application Guide:
No application is required to be eligible for this award. Each year, a recipient is selected from the pool of admitted students who apply for the Governor’s Awards of Distinction.
