Scholarship Summary:
The International Secondary School Merit Scholarship is awarded to seven (7) international students who are entering their first year of full-time, four-year undergraduate degree program at Ryerson University and demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to volunteer work and extracurricular activities, and leadership skills.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be international students with a minimum 85% (A) or equivalent final admission average
Value of Scholarship:
The International Secondary School Merit Scholarship is valued as CAD$5,000 annually and is non-renewable.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply,
i. Submit a complete application for admission into TMU.
ii. Once you have received your Student Number, activate your online identity, if you have not done so already, to access AwardSpring.
iii. Log on to AwardSpring and complete the general application to be matched and considered for entrance scholarships.
iv. On your AwardSpring dashboard, you will only see entrance scholarships that you are qualified for and you will have the ability to complete follow-ups for those opportunities such as written statements, letters of references and more!
v. For this application, you will be asked for the following:

vi. Upon completing the follow-ups for an entrance scholarship, you can continue to check on AwardSpring for a decision on your application. Please monitor your personal email and Student Portal for updates regarding scholarship decisions.
