The Nova President’s Scholarship is a generous award program which is awarded by invitation only, to top-achieving domestic high school students and does require SAT or ACT scores submitted during the admission process. Awards are limited and so early applications are encouraged.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be First-time in college freshman enrolled at NSU in the fall semester
ii. Demonstrate academic excellence and engagement both inside and outside of the classroom
Value of Scholarship:
The Nova Presidential Scholarship varies in amount, based on the student's individual award package.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete an application for admission into NSU.
ii. The admissions office will invite eligible students to attend the interview process on to ensure full consideration of the award.
- Students are selected based on a variety of categories including academic excellence, leadership experiences, past contributions to community, capacity to contribute to NSU, engaging/mature demeanor, and an overall passion to become a part of the NSU Shark family.
- If you’re selected, you will be invited via email to choose which Shark Preview Weekend works for your schedule.
iii. Complete the NSU State-Aid application (if in-state student) and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) prior to April 15th.
iv. Once selected for the award, the student must confirm acceptance and accept the President’s Scholarship award by May 1st in order to guarantee the funds.
