Transylvania University offers the Premier scholarships to outstanding incoming students (domestic and international) with exceptional academic credentials. Students eligible for these Premier Scholarship awards will be selected based on application materials, academics, essays and an interview.

There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 5% of the applicant pool. Selection will be based on information submitted on the application, including test scores, grades, extracurricular and community involvement, recommendations and the admissions essay.

The Transylvania Premier Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. William T. Young scholarship covers the full tuition cost and fees annually.
ii. Kenan and Trustee Scholarship starts at $30,000 annually
