Scholarship Summary: 
Southwest Baptist University is offering academic competitive scholarships to top-performing freshmen students (US citizens and residents only). If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be invited to participate in a Scholars Day to earn one of the academic-competitive scholarships.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.3+*
ii. Incoming transfer students with a 3.5 college GPA or above will also be invited.

*High school seniors with a 3.3 GPA that have submitted a 16 ACT/ 910 SAT/ 56 CLT to the admissions office are not eligible for Scholars Day.

Value of Scholarship: 
There are two scholarships awarded on Scholars Day namely;
i. J. R. Maupin Founders Award: Full-tuition (two awards offered annually)
ii. Dutile Scholars Award: $500-$2,500 (awarded to each Scholars Day participant not selected for the J.R. Maupin Founders Award)
