Scholarship Summary:
Delta State University recognizes students who have excelled in high school and offers a number of Freshman Merit Scholarships to high-performing incoming domestic freshmen.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for an award, incoming freshman must have;
– Minimum cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0
– Minimum composite ACT of at least 20 or SAT Total of at least 1030
– Super Score will be used for scholarship consideration
Value of Scholarship:
The Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Magnolia Freshman Scholarship: $4,200/semester for eight (8) semesters (Min GPA: 3.75+ and 28 ACT/1300 SAT)
ii. Emerald Freshman Scholarship: $2,250/semester for eight (8) semesters (Min GPA: 3.5+ and 24 ACT/1160 SAT; 4 awards available)
iii. Delta State Impact Scholarship: $1,125/semester for eight (8) semesters (Min GPA: 3.0+ and 20 ACT/1030 SAT)
