Scholarship Summary: 

The Ronald W. Reagan Leadership program is one of the premier educational experiences that any student (US citizens and residents only) at Eureka College can have and among the most unique, innovative scholarship programs in the country. Recipients of this scholarship practice and exemplify Eureka College’s core values and commitment to learn, serve, and lead. Up to four Reagan Fellows are named each year, chosen for their leadership accomplishments and potential, scholarly abilities, and commitment to service.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Earn a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
ii. Demonstrate leadership accomplishments and potential, scholarly abilities, and commitment to service

Value of Scholarship: 

Recipients of the Reagan Scholarship receive:
i. A four-year, full-tuition scholarship at Eureka College.
ii. Stipends to cover the program’s special travel and mentoring opportunities.
iii. Two on-site mentorships with prominent leaders. Past sites include: Switzerland, Australia, Mexico, Boston, London, Hawaii, Israel and Zimbabwe

Scholarship Application Guide: 

To apply. applicants must;
i. Submit an Application for Admission and be admitted to Eureka College by the above deadline.
ii. Complete the following steps to apply for the Ronald W. Reagan Leadership Program
.
  • Step 1 (Apply): All eligible high school seniors with a 3.3 cumulative GPA are invited to apply by using this 
  • Step 2 (RSVP): Qualified applicants will be invited to compete in the scheduled competition for Fall 2027. The on-campus competition is scheduled for Feb 13, 2027. Invitations will be sent through email after your application has been received. A submitted RSVP will confirm your place in one of the scholarship competitions.
  • Step 3 (Compete): The scholarship competition will be used in conjunction with a student's GPA and a submitted leadership reflection to determine finalists for the program. Competitors will have the opportunity to interview with faculty and current fellows, to get to know campus and community, and to share both experiences as leaders and their goals for the future.  
iii. Final Round Interview
The selection committee will select a group of finalists based on applicants’ competition interviews and exercises, leadership reflection, and high school experiences. Finalists will be invited to interview virtually with the selection committee. Fellowship offers will be made following final round interviews
