Scholarship Summary:
PLNU merit awards, based on GPA and test scores, are available to domestic and international freshmen and who are high achievers in the classroom.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To qualify for the Freshman Merit Scholarship, students must;
i. obtain a minimum 3.25 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 3.60 or SAT ≥ 1180 or ACT ≥ 24}
Value of Scholarship:
The PLNU Freshman Merit awards are valued as follows;
i. Bresee Scholarship - $10,000 (3.25 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 3.60 or SAT ≥ 1180 or ACT ≥ 24})
ii. Dean's Scholarship - $12,000 (3.5 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 3.75 or SAT ≥ 1280 or ACT ≥ 27})
iii. Provost's Scholarship - $14,000 (3.8 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 3.90 or SAT ≥ 1340 or ACT ≥ 29})
iv. Trustee's Scholarship - $16,000 (3.85 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 4.10 or SAT ≥ 1370 or ACT ≥ 30})
v. President's Green Scholarship - $18,000 (3.9 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 4.25 or SAT ≥ 1400 or ACT ≥ 31})
vi. President's Gold Scholarship - $20,000 (3.95 unweighted GPA and one of these 3: {weighted HS GPA ≥ 4.40 or SAT ≥ 1430 or ACT ≥ 32})
