Scholarship Summary: 

Trent’s National Entrance Scholarships are available for Canadian students entering an undergraduate program directly from a Canadian secondary school, and for Canadian students transferring from another post-secondary institution. 

Applications are not required for the National Entrance Scholarships and they are renewable for up to 4 years of full-time study.

All incoming undergraduates (domestic and international) who have been admitted to Carleton with an admissions average of 80 percent or better will automatically be considered for a renewable entrance scholarship at the time of admission. Entrance scholarships are offered for fall entry only.

The Board of Graduate Studies Research Scholarships are available to students (Canadian and international) in the College of Arts, the Gordon S. Students do not apply for these awards because departments nominate students to the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies each semester. All eligible students will be considered for nomination by their departments with preference given to entering and first-year students.
