'24 Trent University Canadian National Entrance Scholarship (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
Trent’s National Entrance Scholarships are available for Canadian students entering an undergraduate program directly from a Canadian secondary school, and for Canadian students transferring from another post-secondary institution. 

Applications are not required for the National Entrance Scholarships and they are renewable for up to 4 years of full-time study.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration;
i. Secondary Students - Canadian students entering first year at Trent directly from a Canadian secondary school with an admission average of 80% or higher.  
  • Ontario High School student’s average is calculated by averaging the top 6 4U or 4M courses; not program specific.
  • Out-of-Province student’s average is based on undergraduate admission requirements.
ii. Transfer Students - Students who transfer from another accredited Canadian post-secondary institution (University or College Diploma program), with an admission average of 80% or higher.
  • Transfer student’s average is based on the cumulative average from previous institution attended.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Trent Canadian National Renewable Entrance Award is valued as follows;
i. Admission Average of 95%+: CAD$3,000 x 4 years = CAD$12,000
ii. Admission Average of 90-95%: CAD$2,500 x 4 years = CAD$10,000
iii. Admission Average of 86–90%: CAD$1,500 x 4 years = $6,000
iv. Admission Average of 80–85%: CAD$1,000 x 4 years = $4,000

Scholarships can be renewed by maintaining a cumulative average of 80% or above in 5.0 Trent credits per year.
