Scholarship Summary:
International students entering post-secondary studies for the first time and registering in the first semester of a degree program in the fall semester are automatically considered for an entrance scholarship. Entrance scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis based on the admission average at the time of the offer of admission.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be international fee-paying students
ii. Have a record of high academic achievement
iii. Register for the first semester of a degree program in fall
Value of Scholarship:
The UG International Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships range from CAD$5,500 – CAD$8,500
Scholarship payments are split into two equal payments and applied to the University of Guelph's student account as payment toward tuition for the fall and winter semesters.
Students admitted in Fall 2024 and receiving an entrance scholarship are eligible to receive a $4,000 award in years 2, 3, and 4 if all renewal criteria are met each year.
