Scholarship Summary: 
Waynesburg University reviews high school GPA and SAT/ACT test scores of incoming freshmen (domestic and international) to determine high school academic achievement, and, based on that, will award one of the available merit scholarships. The scholarship you earn for your first year is renewable and awarded for eight consecutive semesters (excluding summer) of undergraduate enrollment or until a bachelor's degree is achieved (whichever comes first) on Waynesburg University’s main campus. Students must also achieve the required GPA for renewal. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
In order to be considered for a Merit Scholarship, students must;
i. Be first-time incoming freshmen
ii. Demonstrate excellent academic potential 

Value of Scholarship: 
Waynesburg Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. AB Miller Scholarship: $18,000/year
ii. Presidential Honor Scholarship: $16,000/year
iii. Waynesburg Honor Scholarship: $14,000/year
iv. University Scholarship: $12,000/year
v. Waynesburg Opportunity Award: $8,000/year

Out-of-state students: Out-of-state students who receive an Achievement Award also qualify for the State Scholarship, worth an additional $3,000/year. 

Scholarship Application Guide: 
All accepted first-year freshman students will be considered for an Achievement Award based on their application for admission. There is no separate scholarship application.
