Deakin University, Australia, is working to help the innovators of tomorrow achieve their potential. The Deakin Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship is open for international students applying for undergraduate, postgraduate coursework within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible you must:
• be a citizen from Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka or Vietnam
• be a new international student starting your course at Deakin by the above deadline
• meet the entry requirements for their course, including English language requirements
• be studying a Deakin undergraduate or postgraduate coursework (including honours) from the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE)
• not be commencing a course on the FutureLearn platform
• meet the academic requirements listed below for undergraduate and postgraduate study
To be eligible for the scholarship while undertaking postgraduate study, you must:
- have completed a three-year bachelor degree (or equivalent) from an approved institution
- have achieved the equivalent of 65% WAM in your undergraduate degree
- meet all entry requirements for your specific course.
To be eligible for the scholarship while undertaking undergraduate study, you must:
- meet the country-specific academic requirements listed in the scholarship link below.
Value of Scholarship:
The Deakin (STEM) Scholarship is valued as 20% of your student contributions (tuition fees) and is available for the normal duration of the course.
Scholarship Application Guide:
All students who will be automatically assessed for the scholarship, and will be advised of the outcome. There is no need to complete a scholarship application form.
