Scholarship Summary:
All international undergraduate applicants are eligible for the merit-based, International Academic Scholarship at the University of Tulsa. Academic performance, extracurricular activities, and leadership experience are all considered when awarding this scholarship. It is renewable for up to four years.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be international fee-paying students
ii. Be admitted for undergraduate study at UT
iii. Have a minimum HS GPA of 3.0
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Tulsa International Merit scholarship are namely as follows;
1. International Academic Scholarship:
- 4.0 GPA, IELTS 8.0, or TOEFL 105: $15,000
- 3.75-3.99 GPA, IELTS 7.5, or TOEFL 100: $12,000
- 3.50-3.74 GPA, IELTS 7.0, or TOEFL 90: $9,000
- 3.25-3.49 GPA, IELTS 6.5, or TOEFL 79: $7,000
- 3.00-3.24 GPA, IELTS 6.0, or TOEFL 70: $6,000
2. Global Ambassador Scholarship:
$10,000-$20,000/year (Requirements: Leadership experience: Participate in school or community activities to make an impact, stackable with merit scholarship.)
Scholarship Application Guide:
For the Academic Scholarship: There is no separate scholarship application; applicants who submit a by the deadline, will be considered for merit scholarships. Renewal is contingent upon full-time enrollment.
For the Global Ambassador Scholarship:
Please submit certificates of participation in national, regional, or international competitions.
