Scholarship Summary: 
The Allegheny Commitment to Access Program (CAP) will cover 100% of tuition for Pennsylvania and Ohio students from families earning a total income of $50,000 or less. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be students from Pennsylvania whose families earn a total income of $50,000 or less per year (as shown on their FAFSA) and; 
ii. Be enrolled for the first time as full-time, degree seeking students at Allegheny in Fall, pursuing their first bachelor’s degree.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Allegheny Commitment to Access will cover 100% of tuition for four years (eight semesters) and is covered through federal, state, and Allegheny awards.

The program is renewable for up to four years, as long as income and asset guidelines continue to be met and students remain in good academic standing at the College.

Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the deadline.
  • Students who are not eligible to file a FAFSA and who graduated from a high school in Pennsylvania are able to apply for this program by submitting a Federal Student Aid Estimator
Returning students must re-submit the FAFSA by May 1 each year to determine continued eligibility.
