Scholarship Summary:
The University of Ottawa renewable International English Scholarship is offered to international students who are citizens of an eligible country, who are admitted in Fall term or later to an eligible undergraduate program offered in English.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for scholarship, applicants must;
• be a citizen of an eligible country namely; Bangladesh, China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Africa
• be newly admitted in Fall 2024 term or thereafter in one of the eligible undergraduate programs offered in English
• not enrol in the French immersion stream
• have a valid study permit when starting your studies at uOttawa
• be enrolled full time
• for the excellence scholarships, candidates must obtain an admission average of 90% or higher
Value of Scholarship:
The UOttawa International English Scholarships are valued as follows;
1. International English Entrance Scholarship: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Africa: reduces tuition fees by $5,000 to $15,000 per year depending on the country and faculty.
2. International English Excellence Scholarship: Bangladesh, China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Africa: reduces tuition fees by $5,000 to $25,000 per year, depending on the program and faculty.
Tuition fees are immediately reduced by the amount of the scholarship.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There’s no separate scholarship application; if you’re eligible for this scholarship, you automatically receive it when you enrol full time.
