Scholarship Summary:
Truman State University is offering the President John R. Kirk Scholarship to domestic freshmen candidates who have exceptional academic and co-curricular accomplishments.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Applicants eligible for scholarship consideration must;
i. Demonstrate exceptional academic and co-curricular accomplishments
ii. Be in the top 5% of Truman applicants
Value of Scholarship:
The President John R. Kirk Scholarship is estimated at $13,000 annually for in-state students and $20,000 annually for out-of-state students. This scholarship supersedes other Truman funded awards.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Truman does not require a separate scholarship application for competitive scholarships, saving you the time and the hassle of finding a scholarship you qualify for. All materials that you submit with your application for admission are reviewed in the competitive scholarship selection process. Eligible applicants must be accepted by Dec. 1 for consideration and are thus encouraged to submit their admission essay and activities list prior to December 1.
