Scholarship Summary: 
The F. H Loxton Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship was established under the will of F H Loxton, who bequeathed a portion of his income to establish and maintain scholarships for male Australian students studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Sydney.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Applicants must:
I. be male, 
II. enrol into a single or combined undergraduate degree in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and
III. have their primary residential address in a rural area of Australia.

Recipients must enrol full-time in the eligible degree in the semester immediately following award of this scholarship.

Value of Scholarship: 
The scholarship is valued at AUD$20,000 and is tenable for four years.

b. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
    I. academic merit based on performance in the NSW HSC or equivalent,
    II. supporting documentation which provides evidence of a primary residential address in a rural area of Australia (an inner regional, outer regional, remote or very remote area as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics ASGS Remoteness Classification, Health Workforce Locator).
c. The Scholarship will be awarded on the nomination of a selection committee consisting of the Associate Dean, Education, Faculty of Engineering, or their nominated delegate, and at least one academic staff member from the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
