Scholarship Summary:
The UCL- GREAT Scholarships 2024 are jointly funded by UCL and the British Council to provide financial support to citizens of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Nigeria.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible;
• Candidates must be citizens of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Nigeria..
• For the UCL-GREAT Scholarship, candidates must have made an application to study a full-time Master's degree at UCL in 2024/25, and hold an offer of a place at UCL by the scholarship closing date of Tuesday 7th May 2024.
Value of Scholarship:
There are 4 UCL-GREAT scholarships available in 2024/25; 1 for Bangladesh, 1 for India, 1 for Malaysia and 1 for Nigeria, each worth £10,000.
The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s tuition fees.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. You need to have submitted an admission application to UCL in order to apply for the scholarship.
ii. Instructions for accessing the online scholarship application form:
1. Login to Portico with your normal details.
2. Click on the ‘View’ button for the ‘Active Application’ that you wish to apply for funding for.
3. In the application screen, click on the ‘Funding’ in the menu at the top of the page.
4. You are now on the funding page. To find out which funds you are eligible to apply for click 'Check and apply' under ‘Funds Available’.
5. Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for.
