Scholarship Summary:
Alma College offers generous financial assistance to incoming undergraduate students (domestic and international). Consideration for academic scholarships is based on documentation provided as part of the application process.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be admitted for undergraduate study
Value of Scholarship:
The Alma Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
Domestic Students
i. $26,000/year (<3.00 GPA)
ii. $28,000/year (3.00 - 3.24 GPA)
iii. $30,000/year (3.25 - 3.49 GPA)
iv. $32,000/year (3.50+ GPA)
International Students
i. Alma (<3.00 GP: $28,000/year
ii. Tartan (3.0 – 3.29 GPA): $30,000/year
iii. Dean's (3.30 – 3.59 GPA): $32,000/year
iv. Trustee (3.60 – 3.79 GPA): $34,000/year
v. Presidential (3.80 + GPA): $36,000/year
Any student (domestic or international) who resides outside the state of Michigan is also eligible for the renewable $1,000 Highland Award.
