Scholarship Summary: 
Cutler Discipline-Based Scholar Awards are merit-based scholarships for domestic freshmen funded by generous gifts from forward-thinking individuals who understand that investing in education is investing in the future. The eligible population for each Cutler Scholars Award is determined by the benefactor for whom the award is named. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be considered for a Cutler discipline-based award, 
I. Applicants must be US citizens and permanent residents. Some awards are exclusively for Ohio students from a geographic area such as a county or a single high school.
II. Applicants must be admitted into an academic unit of Ohio University such as the College of Business, the Russ College of Engineering and Technology, or the College of Arts and Sciences.
III. Students must be freshman applicants to Ohio University and satisfy either geographic or discipline eligibility requirements.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Ohio Cutler Discipline-Based Scholar Awards are valued as follows;

A. Russ College of Engineering and Technology
1. Russ Legacy Cutler Scholar Award
 - Eligible population: Students (Ohio students and non-residents) admitted to the Russ College of Engineering and Technology or related HTC tutorial degree program
 - Award: Full scholarship

B. College of Business
1. College of Business Executive Advisory Board Cutler Scholar Award
 - Eligible population: Ohio residents admitted to the College of Business or related HTC tutorial degree program
 - Award: $23,000 annual renewable scholarship

C. College of Fine Arts
1. Wilfred R. and Ann Lee Konneker College of Fine Arts Cutler Scholar Award
 - Eligible population: Ohio residents admitted to the College of Fine Arts or related HTC tutorial degree program   
 - Award: $23,000 annual renewable scholarship

D. College of Arts and Sciences
1. Claire O. and Charles J. Ping Cutler Scholars Award
 - Eligible population: Ohio residents admitted to humanities majors in the College of Arts and Sciences or related HTC tutorial degree program. Majors in the following fields are eligible: English; history; classics & world religions; modern languages; philosophy; linguistics; women’s, gender, & sexuality studies; African American studies.
 - Award: $23,000 annual renewable scholarship
2Charles R. and Marilyn Y. Stuckey College of Arts and Sciences Cutler Scholar Award
 - Eligible population: Ohio residents admitted to math or natural sciences majors in the College of Arts and Sciences or related HTC tutorial college.
 - Award: $23,000 annual renewable scholarship

E. Ohio Geographically-Based Scholarships
 - Eligible population: Ohio residents from specific high schools  
 - Award: $23,000 annual renewable scholarship
